Module 2: “Sustainable Materials Applications”
The Renewable and Sustainable Energy Lab at the Technical University of Crete (ReSEL@TUC) proudly continues the successful workshop series on Material Sustainability and Cultural Heritage patents, held within the frame of the HI-EURECA-PRO project. The second module of the series, titled “Applications of Sustainable Material”, organised with the support of Universidad de León, is due on October 23rd and continues the dialogue on integrating sustainability into cultural heritage practices.

On Friday, July 11, 2025, a successful webinar on Material Sustainability and Cultural Heritage was held, bringing together experts from various fields to discuss innovative approaches to preserving cultural heritage in the face of climate challenges. The event was organized by the Technical University of Crete, coordinator of the HI-EURECA-PRO, Heritage Innovation project, in the context of a series of workshops focusing on “Material Sustainability in Cultural Heritage Patents”.

The Silesian University of Technology Officially Launched the Activities of the Industrial Heritage Demo within HI-EURECA-PRO
The university formally inaugurated the Industrial Heritage Demo as part of the HI-EURECA-PRO project during the seminar titled “Cultural Heritage, Future Skills, and New Technologies: How to Educate the Next Generation in a Modern Way”, held on May 21st at the Silesian University of Technology Library.

The HI-EURECA-PRO 2nd Project Meeting was successfully held in Petroșani, Romania, on the 22nd and 23rd of October 2024, hosted at the University of Petroşani campus. The Project’s Consortium partners met in person, to monitor the project’s progress against its first semester objectives as well as establish the upcoming period’s action plan
